ABOUT ME
Ausgebildet in Innenarchitektur und Produktdesign in Paris, fand ich früh meinen Weg zur Gestaltung bewegter Bilder. Über Werbefilm, Bühne und TV führte mich meine Arbeit bis ins französische Art Department von Michael Hanekes „Caché“ – und schließlich nach Wien, wo ich heute lebe und arbeite.
Internationale Produktionen in Frankreich, Italien, Chile, Tschechien und Österreich haben meinen Blick für unterschiedliche Arbeitweisen geschärft.
Mich interessiert der Prozess, die Erzählung eines Drehbuchs in eine konkrete visuelle Welt zu übersetzen – von der ersten Idee bis zur Realisierung am Set.
Mich inspiriert der kreative Austausch im Team und es begeistert mich, wie aus den unterschiedlichen Ideen, Fähigkeiten und Perspektiven aller Beteiligten Schritt für Schritt ein gemeinsames Ganzes entsteht.
Trained in Interior Architecture and Product Design in Paris, I found my way into film early on. My work has taken me from commercials, theatre and television to the French Art Department of Michael Haneke’s Caché, and eventually to Vienna, where I live and work today.
Working on productions across France, Italy, Chile, the Czech Republic and Austria has shaped the way I approach each project. I enjoy taking a story from the screenplay and turning it into something tangible — from the first idea to the realisation on set.
I value the exchange of ideas and the collaborative process, where different skills and perspectives come together to create something shared.

VISUELLE KOMPOSITION & CHARACTER STORYTELLING
Für mich beginnt der kreative Prozess mit Intuition.
Beim Lesen eines Drehbuchs entstehen erste Bilder, die mich durch den weiteren Prozess begleiten.
Ich finde es spannend, wie Räume, Dinge und Atmosphäre dazu beitragen, eine Geschichte glaubhaft und spürbar zu machen. Das Szenenbild erzählt sowohl für sich alleine, als auch im Zusammenspiel mit den Figuren.
Recherche ist ein wichtiger Teil meiner Arbeit. Viele der Welten, die wir erzählen, sind uns zunächst fremd. Durch Recherche nähere ich mich ihnen an und entwickle ein Gefühl für ihre Details und Zusammenhänge.
Ich möchte Räume schaffen, die sich selbstverständlich anfühlen und die Geschichte unterstützen, ohne sich in den Vordergrund zu stellen. Und doch sollen sie eigenständig sein, starke Bilder erzeugen und eine ästhetische Qualität entwickeln, die über ihre Funktion hinausgeht.
For me, the creative process begins with intuition. When I read a screenplay, first images emerge and stay with me throughout the process.
I enjoy exploring how spaces, objects and atmosphere can make a story feel tangible and believable. Production design has a dual role: it can tell a story in its own right, while also creating a world that supports and shapes the characters.
Research is an important part of my work. Many of the worlds we create are initially unfamiliar to us. Through research, I get closer to them and develop a sense of their details and connections.
I want to create spaces that feel natural and support the story without taking centre stage. At the same time, they should have a presence of their own, create striking images, and develop an aesthetic quality that goes beyond their function.
